Avochie Neolithic Recumbent Stone
On the South East side of a hill overlooking the ruins of Avochie Castle, Rothiemay, Huntly lies a huge Neolithic whinstone boulder. The boulder is marked with numerous cup marks some rings. It may have been part of a past stone circle in the area.
