The
Children of Farmer and Photographer Walter Cook (1851 - 1924), Muiryhill,
Alvah, Banff taken after the Great War. Maggie Cook top left was married to
John Brown and Elsie Cook top right was the wife of George Robb.
Youngest
son Alex Cook (centre front) was the last Tennant farmer at Murihill. On the
break up of Forglen Estate the farm was offered for sale to Alex for �2000
but, he never took up the offer and the farm was sold to the Cooks of Easter
Culbeuchly (no relation) in 1966.
